Our 2023 Toy Drive is directly going to 81 families with children from birth to 18 years old as follows-
Any and all donations are welcome and greatly appreciated. Stumped on what to get? Here might be some helpful suggestions we received from the shelters.
15 children from birth to 12 months; Baby items- books for parents to read to them, pacifiers, teething rings, books that have textural/tactile features; blocks, snowsuits, winter wear
19 Children between 3 & 6 Years old; books in English and Spanish, Magna Tiles, Blocks, Play Doh, Kinetic sand, age appropriate dolls, Barbie dolls- (all skin tones), age appropriate cards and action figures, coloring books, crayons,
23 Children 7 to 11 Years old; chapter books, purses for girls, wallets for boys, Barbie dolls, boards games for girls and boys English and Spanish, craft/ craft projects
30 tweens/ teens;
For Girls; nail polish and nail polish sets, jewlery making kits, journals and diaries, Specialty toiletries like those from Bath and Body Works or Bodyshop,
For Boys- hoodies, basketball shorts, sweatpants
Non Gender Specific- Earpods or Earphones (bluetooth capable), Art supplies
Gift Cards to Old Navy, Foot Locker, Gap, Amazon, Forever 21, Target, Uber Eats, Door Dash, McDonald's, Subway, Dominos, Dunkin Donuts
***Shelters prefer nothing with wheels, electronics other than Earpods/ Earphones because they can become extra noisy and hard/intense for the families.
